2. How We Use Your Data

  • Email Address: To send account-related notifications, such as password resets or changes to our terms of service.
  • Uploaded Documents: To process and extract transaction data as part of our service.
  • Extracted Transactions: To display and allow you to export the transaction data from your documents.
  • Optional Communications: To send updates about product developments or feedback requests, but only if you have explicitly opted in to receive these communications during signup.

We will never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Your documents, extracted transactions, and personal information are stored securely and only accessed by authorized personnel when necessary to provide our service.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Your email address will be retained as long as your account remains active.
  • Uploaded documents and their extracted transaction data will be retained as long as your account is active.
  • For beta users whose accounts were deactivated, your account, email address, documents, and transaction data will be deleted from our systems 6 months after the app exits beta if the account is not re-activated.
  • If you request account deletion, all your data including email address, uploaded documents, and transaction data will be permanently deleted from our systems.

5. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights:

Access: You can request access to the data we hold about you.

Correction: You can request that we correct any inaccuracies in your data.

Deletion: You can request the deletion of your data by contacting us at support@sequens.io.

Withdrawal of Consent: If you have opted in to receive optional communications, you can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in those emails or contacting us.
